Presentation and Webinar Recording: Local Actions to Address Extreme Heat

This interactive webinar hosted by the EU Covenant of Mayor and Climate Alliance showcases the innovative approaches taken by four highly diverse municipalities across Europe to address the ever growing challenge of extreme heat. 

Through their participation in the Ready4Heat project, Maribor (SI), Weiz (AT), Worms (DE) and Hajdúböszörmény (HU) will share their journeys of heat action plan development and measure implementation. Their case studies highlight the importance of authentic stakeholder engagement, of identifying both short term and longer term actions, the importance of using data to inform decision-making and the value of peer exchange.
